| LORRAINE DAY, M.D., University of California, San Francisco School of
Medicine in 1969, specialized in orthopedic surgery. She became an orthopedic
trauma surgeon at San Francisco General Hospital. For 15 years she was associate
professor at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.
She later became Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital.
She is the author of numerous medical articles and textbook chapters. Her impressive credentials and vast experience in the public media have earned her many invitations to lecture throughout the world. She has appeared on 400 radio and television shows including 60 Minutes, Nightline, CNN Crossfire, Oprah Winfrey, and Larry King Live.
