NANCY APPLETON, Ph.D.

NANCY APPLETON, Ph.D., speaker, author, researcher and nutritional consultant, obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Foods and Nutrition and her Ph.D. from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her thesis was How Food Allergies Affect the Immune System.

Nancy has had personal experience with the destructive impact of abusive foods. A sugarholic since childhood, she was subject to maladies ranging from allergies, boils, candida, a lumbar calcium deposit removed, to chronic bronchitis and five different bouts with pneumonia. Only when she changed her diet and lifestyle was she able to reverse the degenerative disease process and return her body to health.

As a Nutritional Consultant, Nancy helps clients balance their body chemistry. As an author, she has written Lick the Sugar Habit, which contains documented research on how sugar plays havoc with the body’s mineral relationships, enzymes and, in turn, the immune system. The diseases that develop out of the suppression of the immune system are discussed. They include hypoglycemia, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, cancer and heart disease.

She has also written Healthy Bones dealing with osteoporosis, Healing With Natural Food dealing with homeostasis and The Curse of Louis Pasteur. Her latest book is Stopping Inflammation.

She may be contacted by phone 310-315-9242, website www.nancyappleton.com and e-mail info.nancy@verizon.net
