| JEREMY APPLETON, N.D. received his Doctorate in
Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine
in Portland, Oregon and completed his Residency at Bastyr University
of Natural Health Sciences in Kenmore, Washington.
Dr. Appleton is a Professor and Chairman of the Nutrition Department
at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine where he supervised
the Nutrition Curriculum and taught 3 doctoral level Nutrition Courses.
His professional experience includes Director of Technical and Regulatory
Affairs at Tyler Encapsulations, Gresham, Oregon and Senior Science
Editor, Healthnotes, Inc., Portland, Oregon, where he contributed over
80 articles.
Presently, Dr. Appleton is Director of Scientific Affairs at Cardinal
Nutrition, Vancouver, Washington. Cardinal Nutrution is a U.S.-based
firm and the world’s leading manufacturer of MSM under the name
OptiMSM. MSM is a naturally occurring sulfur compound and nutritional
component of many foods. The chemical name for MSM is dimethyl sulfone,

Dr. Appleton and Dr. Stanley Jacob co-authored a book called MSM: The
