FRANK CUNY, PRES. CALIFORNIA CITIZENS FOR HEALTH FREEDOM, has a B.A. Degree in Social Science and a second B.A. in Administration from Sacramento State University, California. His professional background included 4 years with the United States Airforce, 4 years as an Elementary School Teacher, 8 years as the Executive Director of Community Poverty Programs, 15 years Director of Residential Treatment Program for youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems and a program focused on Natural Health.

A national organization called Citizens For Health was formed 8 years ago as a reaction against the FDA proposed regulations that would have given the FDA control over natural nutritional products, Mr. Cuny was elected at that time to organize the citizens' grassroots opposition to these regulations. He has served as the State Director in California as a full time volunteer. As Director he has been in key leadership roles to a number of state and federal issues effecting citizens' rights to natural products and Alternative Treatments.

Frank is the Political Advocate in Sacramento for the California Alliance For Health Freedom and is an active member of the Cancer Control Alliance.

He would like for his 70th birthday in December of 2000, the passage of Bills AB-827, The Physicians Right To Practice Bill, which would make Alternative Treatments to cancer legal in California and The Midwives Right to Practice Act. Mr. Cuny will speak on Major Developments In Freedom Of Choice In Cancer Therapies.
